Job Summary
Seeking a Buyer / Procurement Specialist to support NPI and CPI sourcing initiatives through supplier management, procurement execution, and cross-functional project support. This role will lead sourcing activities, evaluate supplier performance, negotiate commercial agreements, and collaborate with engineering, planning, and program teams to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
  • Lead sourcing activities supporting NPI and CPI programs.
  • Evaluate, select, and develop suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and performance.
  • Manage purchase orders, quotations, bids, and supplier contracts.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and sourcing agreements.
  • Resolve supplier performance, quality, and delivery issues.
  • Partner with engineering, planning, and project teams to support business objectives.
  • Analyze supplier proposals, cost data, and sourcing opportunities.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Years of Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Associate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience considered.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience considered.
  • Internship experience may be considered.
