Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Buyer for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a leading manufacturing organization in Greensboro, NC. This role is ideal for a purchasing professional with experience in sourcing, supplier management, negotiations, and procurement operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage purchasing activities for direct and indirect materials and services.
  • Source suppliers and support supplier selection processes.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and purchasing terms.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address quality, delivery, and cost concerns.
  • Support manufacturing operations by ensuring materials and services are available when needed.
  • Analyze purchasing data and identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Manage purchase orders, resolve discrepancies, and support procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.

  • 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or buyer experience.
