Job Overview
We are seeking multiple skilled Maintenance Persons to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in facility/kitchen maintenance, janitorial tasks, and possess the ability to be a dependable worker. Hughes Family McDonald's is an expanding franchisee organization, seeking individuals who want to grow and develop with us. If you have experience in fast food, restaurants, and maintenance, then we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Person's responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Unload delivery truck 2 times a week.
  • Filter oil fryers daily and change oil as needed.
  • Sanitize ice machines, refrigerators and freezers as needed.
  • Maintain kitchen & equipment cleanliness (i.e. scrub floors, drains and sink areas, wash and clean kitchen equipment, empty grease traps, take out and empty trash, etc.)
  • Performs general cleaning and maintenance of building (i.e. wash windows and restrooms, pick up trash on premises, periodically pressure washing walkways & drive thru lane, etc.)
  • Building/Facility maintenance and repairs as needed (i.e. troubleshooting equipment issues, replacing ceiling tiles, unclogging drains, replacing HVAC Filters, etc.)

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe work environment at all times.
  • Coachability- we want people who can listen and learn, then also coach others.
  • Team Perspective- we operate our company in a team-like environment where no task is too big or too small for anyone. We seek individuals who say, YES.
  • Mechanical/technical skills and experience with building repairs and/or kitchen equipment repairs is a HUGE plus.
  • Preference will be given to individuals who are cross-trained or have a willingness to learn kitchen, in addition to maintenance work.
