Restaurant Maintenance Technician Position Summary

The Restaurant Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the restaurantโ€™s facilities, equipment, and systems are well-maintained, safe, and fully operational. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing kitchen equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building needs to minimize downtime and support smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on kitchen appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, electrical systems, and plumbing.

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns quickly to minimize disruption to restaurant operations.

  • Maintain a preventive maintenance schedule and keep accurate service records.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building codes.

  • Coordinate with outside vendors when specialized repairs or services are needed.
