Role Description:

This is a full-time, remote role for a Chief Policy & Claims Strategy Officer with some travel required. The role involves leading and overseeing claims advocacy, strategies, and execution across complex and high-value property portfolios. Responsibilities include developing and implementing claims strategies, managing policy analysis, ensuring efficient claims handling, and fostering collaboration with insurers, reinsurers, and internal teams. The role also entails providing strategic leadership, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with company objectives to optimize claim outcomes and protect client assets.

Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in Claims Handling and Claims Management processes

  • Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate and quantify claims accurately

  • Experience estimating and adjusting large loss claims ranging from $1MM-$50MM.

  • Excellent Communication skills, including stakeholder engagement and report preparation

  • Deep understanding of Insurance Claims processes and strategies

  • Proven leadership and decision-making abilities within the insurance or real estate sectors

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, on-site environment

  • Experience with complex, high-severity property claims is highly desirable

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Legal Studies, or a related field

  • Certifications such as IICRC, HAAG, or Xactimate Certification
