Job Summary:
All Claims Repairs is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial construction estimating, with proficiency in Xactimate and a keen eye for detail. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Detailed Cost Estimates:
    • Develop initial scopes and prepare precise estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment using Xactimate.
    • Update estimates based on change orders and customer requests.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project requirements.
    • Collaborate with Project and Operations Managers to set project milestones and expectations.
    • Interpret and communicate repair methods and designs to field staff.
  • Vendor and Client Communication:
    • Contact vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials.
    • Work with homeowners, insurance adjusters, agents, and building officials to clarify project scopes and resolve disputes.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure all estimates adhere to company policies and industry standards.
    • Prepare and submit bids and proposals in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Estimator in residential and/or commercial construction.
    • Proven experience working with older and modern building materials and methods.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Xactimate and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Experience in DASH amp; Mitigate
    • Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications:
    • Xactimate certification preferred but not required.
    • IICRC industry standard certifications
  • Requirements:
    • Must pass a background check and drug test.
    • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
