Northern and Southern CA law firm is seeking an experienced full time Workers Compensation Attorney

A prominent California law firm is seeking Associate Attorneys to join its expanding workers' compensation defense practice. The firm fosters a supportive and collaborative environment where attorneys can grow their careers, develop expertise, and be recognized and rewarded for their contributions.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor (JD).

  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.

  • Workers compensation defense experience

  • Strong legal research, analytical, and negotiation skills.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.

  • Demonstrated commitment to proactive case management and client advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full defense of workers' compensation cases from inception through resolution.

  • Handle all phases of discovery and litigation, including depositions, hearings, and trials.

  • Collaborate with clients, including insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators.

  • Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and briefs.

  • Develop case strategies and provide timely updates to clients.

  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in proceedings before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB).
