Position: Remote Virtual Health Medical Assistant & Patient Advocate

We are now seeking a Remote Virtual Health Medical Assistant & Patient Advocate to join our team and help us continue to provide top-notch care to our clients.

Position Overview:

As a Remote Virtual Health Medical Assistant & Patient Advocate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' overall health and well-being. You will work remotely, providing virtual assistance to our clients and their families, ensuring that they receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct virtual health assessments and consultations with clients to identify their needs and develop personalized care plans

- Coordinate and schedule virtual appointments with healthcare providers and specialists

- Act as a liaison between clients, their families, and healthcare providers to ensure effective communication and coordination of care

- Provide virtual support and education to clients and their families on health-related topics and resources

- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation

- Collaborate with our team of in-home caregivers to ensure that clients' care plans are being followed and any issues are addressed promptly

- Continuously strive to improve the quality of care and services provided to our clients

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting

- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred

- Experience with virtual health assessments and consultations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Proficiency in using virtual communication platforms and electronic medical records

- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Contract Details:

This is a full-time, remote position with flexible hours. The successful candidate will be required to have a reliable internet connection and a quiet, private workspace. Compensation will be based on experience.
