Job description

Technical Writer III

Functional Responsibility

  • Develops, edits, and maintains technical documentation supporting Federal IT infrastructure projects, telecommunications modernization initiatives, engineering documentation, standard operating procedures, installation guides, project reports, proposals, technical manuals, presentations, and customer deliverables.
  • Works directly with engineers, project managers, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure technical documentation accurately reflects project requirements, implementation activities, engineering standards, and contract deliverables.
  • Maintains document quality, consistency, version control, and compliance with Federal documentation standards while supporting proposal development and operational reporting.

Minimum Education / General Experience / Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Experience supporting engineering or Federal IT infrastructure documentation preferred.
  • Background check required.
