Job description

Our client is a growing EPC firm in the renewable energy sector seeking an experienced Technical Writer. This role is focused on developing high-quality standard operating procedures and technical documentation that support complex engineering and procurement workflows. The ideal candidate brings a strong writing background paired with deep familiarity with organizational SOP development.
Responsibilities -
- Draft, revise, and manage SOPs, process guides, and technical reference materials for engineering and procurement functions.
- Collaborate with engineers and operational leads to extract technical knowledge and convert it into structured documentation.
- Review existing documentation for clarity, accuracy, and consistency, implementing improvements as needed.
- Manage document revisions through review and approval cycles.
- Ensure all SOPs align with organizational style guidelines and formatting standards.
- Maintain version control and organized records.
Requirements -
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of technical writing experience with a strong focus on SOP development and refinement.
- Proven ability to quickly assess and improve existing documentation with minimal direction.
- Strong editing, proofreading, and quality-review skills with sharp attention to detail.
- Experience working within engineering, procurement, energy, or construction environments.
