Job Summary:
Google is a leading technology company, and they are seeking a Technical Program Manager III for their Analytics team. In this role, you will lead complex projects, ensuring compliance and driving success metrics for the Google Beam product, while collaborating with various engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain scalable dashboards and reporting to monitor the success of our product, customers, and features. Communicate progress against goals to leadership, and both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Partner closely with our engineering telemetry infrastructure team to ensure key data is captured and stored in manners that meet product, business, and privacy/regulatory needs.
• Partner with Labs and Cloud teams to ensure Beam’s serving needs are met; managing GPU capacity requests for serving and ML/AI model training.
• Ensure Beam meets Compliance and Privacy standards, stewarding cross-product area processes and audits, and managing on-team deliverables.
• Drive clarity and accountability to ensure the highest priority work is delivered on schedule, embedded within Telemetry and Networking engineering teams.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience with SQL and data warehousing.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with statistical tools (e.g., R, Python).
Preferred:
• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience working on 0-1, first of a kind, or start-up focused initiatives.
• Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment; comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Strong business acumen and experience with utilizing unstructured data to answer open-ended business questions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to deliver findings of analysis.
• Strong technical writing skills and proven ability to effectively communicate complex analysis.
