The Groove is a modern consulting firm delivering transformative solutions across HR, Finance, and Technology. As we expand our Talent practice, we are looking for experienced Eightfold consultants to help clients unlock the full value of their talent strategy.
The Role
The Eightfold Consultant, Talent Management will lead and support the design, configuration, and implementation of Eightfold AI's Talent Intelligence Platform. This role partners closely with client stakeholders to translate talent strategies into scalable system solutions across areas such as recruiting, internal mobility, career planning, skills intelligence, and workforce planning.
This is a client-facing role requiring strong functional knowledge, consulting presence, and hands-on configuration expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Delivery
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand client talent strategy and business goals
  • Design and configure Eightfold Talent Management solutions aligned to best practices
  • Provide expertise across recruiting, internal mobility, skills architecture, career pathing, and workforce planning
  • Translate business requirements into functional design documentation
  • Support data mapping, integrations, testing, and deployment

Implementation & Optimization
  • Configure Eightfold modules including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Skills, and Career Hub
  • Conduct system testing and support UAT
  • Guide clients through change management and adoption strategies
  • Deliver end-user and administrator training

Advisory & Thought Leadership
  • Advise clients on skills-based talent strategies and AI-driven workforce planning
  • Identify opportunities to optimize talent processes through automation and analytics
  • Stay current on Eightfold product releases and industry best practices

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience implementing Eightfold Talent Intelligence Platform
  • Strong understanding of talent management processes (recruiting, mobility, performance, skills)
  • Experience in a consulting environment preferred
  • Ability to lead client workshops and present confidently to stakeholders
  • Experience with HRIS integrations (Workday experience strongly preferred)
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
