Job description

Talent Acquisition at Marriott is positioned to fuel company performance by identifying, attracting, and hiring world-class talent. We're looking for a Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our team and support our Talent Acquisition function. The Talent Sourcing Specialist is responsible for understanding ongoing hiring needs across the business, conducting proactive candidate searches, building talent pipelines, and partnering closely with Recruiters to deliver best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experiences. This role serves as a strategic sourcing partner by identifying talent, engaging passive candidates, conducting market research, and developing pipelines that support current and future hiring needs. The Talent Sourcing Specialist will leverage sourcing tools, talent intelligence, and market insights to attract high-quality talent across a variety of business functions. 

FLEX is a temporary full-time position with an initial assignment of one year and the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

This is a remote position, and we're open to candidates located anywhere within the United States.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
  • 3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources experience, including at least 2 years of direct sourcing experience
  • Prior sourcing and recruiting experience within either a search firm or in-house talent acquisition environment
  • Demonstrated success building talent pipelines and identifying qualified candidates across multiple functions or disciplines
  • Experience utilizing sourcing tools and methodologies to engage passive and active talent

Preferred

  • Working knowledge of talent acquisition principles, practices, and sourcing methodologies
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, talent intelligence tools, CRM platforms, and applicant tracking systems
  • Hospitality, retail, customer service, or high-volume recruitment experience
  • Experience conducting talent mapping, market research, and competitive intelligence

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Talent Sourcing and Pipeline Development

  • Partner with Recruiters and hiring teams to understand talent needs, target profiles, and workforce priorities
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that attract qualified candidates across a range of functions and business areas
  • Conduct proactive sourcing through networking, referrals, talent communities, social media, and direct outreach
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines to support current and future hiring needs
  • Engage passive and active candidates and cultivate relationships to strengthen Marriott's talent network
  • Conduct talent mapping, labor market research, and competitive intelligence to support sourcing strategies
  • Utilize sourcing technologies and recruiting tools to identify, track, and engage talent
  • Screen prospective candidates and present qualified talent to Recruiters for consideration
  • Maintain accurate candidate and pipeline data within recruiting systems and sourcing platforms
  • Support employer branding, recruitment marketing, sourcing campaigns, recruiting events, and talent acquisition initiatives
  • Share market insights and sourcing trends with Recruiters and Talent Acquisition partners to support hiring decisions
