Summary:We have an opportunity for a Senior DEU Certified Staffing Specialist to support one of our most dynamic clients. As a key member of our team you will provide guidance and strategic consulting regarding qualification requirements, metric practices and principles, recruitment sources and applicable automated staffing systems.Your Day to Day includes but is not limited to:Provide input to management on recruitment and placement issues and recommend ways to resolve problems of job turnover and workforce planning.Utilize various appointing authorities such as Direct Hire, Veterans Recruitment Appointment, Schedules A, B, and D, 30% or more disabled Veterans, etc.Conduct Job Analysis and drafts Job Opportunity Announcements.Review military documents (Form DD214/Veterans Administration letters) for applicable veteran's preference.Research and interpret Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualification standards in rating job applications.Prepare and issue merit promotion certificates.Code personnel actions in accordance with the OPM Guide to Processing Personnel Actions.Ensures adherence to case file management procedures.Support generating offer letters, employee on boarding and new employee orientation as needed.Prepare ad hoc or routine reports.Required Qualifications:10-12 minimum years' federal cradle-to-grave staffing experience.Active DEU Certification.HR Connect (People Soft)Hands on experience with USA Staffing is preferred.
