Job description

Job Title

Position is fully remote and requires flexibility with hours as candidate will be regularly meeting with people virtually in various time zones.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal customers to understand engagement scope and requirements

• Negotiate direct software sourcing contract provisions for assigned SaaS/Cloud portfolio

• Draft, review, redline and execute direct software sourcing contracts

• Continuously drive contract deflation and cost avoidance

• Collaborate with appropriate Finance, Compliance and Legal subject matter experts

• Develop short- and long-term direct software strategies, in partnership with internal customers

• Leverage spend analytics tools

• Support Sourcing best practices

• Proactively identify and resolve issues and make recommendations for improvements to existing processes

• Manage key third party relationships, issue resolution and strategic reviews

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Minimum of 5-7 years of sourcing and software licensing experience

• Minimum 4 years of project management experience.

• Strong expertise in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Ability to read and understand complex Software Contracts.

• Excellent written/verbal communication

• Bachelors or master's degree in Software Engineering, Finance, IT or related field

• Drive to execute under extreme deadline pressures.

• Strong customer service mindset.

• Demonstrated project management skills with ability to lead multiple, highly visible initiatives.
