Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments to understand clients' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral health.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans incorporating evidence-based psychotherapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
  • Provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions that address a spectrum of mental health concerns related to addiction and co-occurring disorders.
  • Administer and interpret psychological tests, which aid in accurately diagnosing client conditions and refining treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure holistic care through integrated treatment strategies.
  • Offer crisis intervention to clients in critical situations, ensuring their immediate safety while providing necessary referrals for additional support.
  • Document all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes meticulously in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Stay updated on advancements in psychological research and continuously enhance your skills through professional development.
  • Supervise psychology interns and doctoral students, sharing your expertise and guiding their professional growth.
  • Participate in regular case conferences and professional development activities to foster collaboration and share knowledge within the team.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges and substance use disorders. Our patients are individuals seeking recovery who may also experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and related emotional issues. Qualifications
  • A completed doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a psychologist in Texas.
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health or detox setting.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting client assessments, formulating diagnoses, and creating effective treatment plans.

Preferred Experience
