Position Overview

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in driving new business opportunities for Quantanite by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients. Reporting into the Sales Leadership function, the SDR is responsible for building a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and appointment setting.

This is a target-driven, commercially focused role suited to individuals who are resilient, organised, and motivated by results. Youll work closely with Sales Managers, Account Executives, and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality leads are converted into meaningful sales conversations.


Key Responsibilities

Core Sales & Lead Generation

  • Proactively identify and research prospective clients using multiple sourcing channels (cold calling, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and sales tools).
  • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns to generate qualified sales leads and book meetings for the sales team.
  • Engage prospects professionally to understand their needs, challenges, and buying intent.
  • Qualify leads against agreed criteria before passing opportunities to the appropriate sales stakeholders.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up to nurture leads and maximise conversion opportunities.

CRM, Tools & Data Management

  • Accurately log all prospect interactions, activities, and outcomes in the CRM system.
  • Maintain up-to-date and high-quality pipeline data to support reporting and forecasting.
  • Utilise approved sales tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, LinkedIn, email automation tools) effectively and compliantly.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align messaging and targeting.
  • Participate in sales meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Actively seek feedback and continuously refine outreach techniques and messaging.
  • Stay informed on Quantanites service offerings, value propositions, and target markets.


Qualifications

Essential

  • Minimum 35 years experience in a sales development, lead generation, or outbound sales environment.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a target-driven, high-volume environment.
  • High level of organisation, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and standard business tools (Google Workspace / MS Office).

Preferred

  • Exposure to B2B sales, professional services, BPO, CX, or technology-enabled services (not SAAS sales).
  • Experience using tools such as HubSpot, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
