Product Owner/Technical Product Owner
Remote
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner/Technical Product Owner with a sound understanding and experience in product development life cycle of an embedded system that has Video capabilities like Set Top Box. Individual should have an excellent grasp of technologies that provide an intuitive and easy customer experience for consuming Video content from different sources.
This team is responsible for implementing features that facilitate and improve user experience for Set Top Box users, e.g.:
• Info Screen UX/UI Enhancements
• Customer Notifications in different areas of Set Top Box UI
• Integrating SVOD carousel
• One-click ordering for new subscriptions
Responsibilities
As a PO/TPO should be familiar with SAFE/Agile methodologies, specifically:
Maintain the Platform Product road map with inputs from HW, Business, etc. including understanding hardware/platform capabilities of other players in this space
Write User stories and Features in user voice bridging business perspective and team needs to build/enhance a platform to meet business goals/objectives
Prioritize bugs, incidents and user stories with the scrum teams with the purpose of achieving committed goals in a sprint/PI
Communicate effectively progress made by the team, goals accomplished, plans for coming sprints/PIs, escalate issues/challenges faced appropriately
Engage stake holders in Engineering, Business/Marketing/Legal, Architecture to meet contractual obligations, etc.
Motivate scrum teams to continuously deliver value and articulate the Programs vision and goals
Scrum/Agile ceremonies like Sprint planning, Sprint Demos, Sprint Retrospective, etc.
SAFE ceremonies like PI Planning, Solutions demo, retrospective, etc.
