Position Summary:
The Project Controller, reporting to the Financial Performance Manager, ensures continuous oversight of budgeting, forecasting, financial status, and resource planning for all projects and programs. Acting as a Business Partner to Program/Project Managers and key stakeholders, this role supports and challenges business needs to optimize financial performance. The Project Controller uses various tools and systems to prepare detailed financial reports and collaborates closely with colleagues to maintain financial health. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software are essential for success in this role.
Essential Functions:
  • Assist in the proactive development and maintenance of Business Intelligence tools to provide Project and Finance related KPIs to key company stakeholders using tools such as Excel Power Pivot, Power Query, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • A passion and ability to be able to solve business needs and problems with data driven solutions.
  • Responsible for communication and coordination with the project team and key stakeholders such as Project Management Office.
  • Performing analysis and preparing reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated value and government guidelines; reviewing labor and ODC inputs; preparing month-end reports; preparing and maintaining spend plans; develop and review Estimates at Complete.
  • Assist in maintaining revenue and costs forecasts monthly for each project and assisting in the rollup at the company level.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project baseline plan for each project in ERP System (UNANET).
  • Produce high quality related products supporting the projects.
  • Support program/project reviews with company stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.
