Max Distributing is seeking energetic, creative individuals to execute a variety of merchandise and product services at retailer locations. We're seeking enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and willing to work independently and as part of a great team! We'll get you up to speed and working quickly with on-the-job training with one of our dedicated merchandising team members and provide ongoing support to ensure your success.
As a leading, national distributor of high-quality products for convenience stores across the United States, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and reliable delivery to our customers and their over 20K locations that we service. We value our employees and the strong culture of collaboration, adaptability, and resilience that we have fostered together at Max Distributing and are looking for individuals who enjoy business building with new and existing customers, a warm, family-like work environment and a passion and love of the CPG industry.
Ideal Candidates will have:
  • Ability to work independently with integrity and professionalism and are comfortable having professional selling conversations with retail store personnel.
  • Ability to lift 25lbs on a regular basis and 50lbs on occasion
  • A valid U.S. driver's license in good standing for the last 3 years
  • Ability to complete multiple store visits per day and ability to drive up to 100 miles per day to complete store visits routes.
  • Ability to climb and work from heights ranging from 9 to 12 feet
  • Ability to visually inspect and manipulate merchandise and advertising displays
  • Ability to frequently stoop, kneel and crouch
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be comfortable using a smart device like an iPhone or tablet and using this technology as part of daily activities.
  • Flexibility to travel beyond assigned geography, with advance notice, for overnight travel (company reimburses travel expenses).

Responsibilities
Retail merchandisers will visit existing customer stores within an assigned geography on a regular schedule. Merchandisers may also be asked to travel to other geographies to support customer launch and reset activities outside of their assigned territory.
  • Build professional relationships with Store Management and Associates and educate them on products and reorder process.
  • Take orders for a variety of products, accurately enter orders in mobile application.
  • Ensure our products are displayed and fully stocked. Reset and stock sections of the store according to the plan-o-gram as needed.
  • Report service visits including uploading photos through a mobile application.
  • Place signage, pricing or other store collateral during store visits, as needed.
