What You’ll Do

The Manager, Global Visual Merchandising, manages the design development of our Global Visual Merchandising guidelines and toolkits, supporting creative concept and 3D design direction for both 360 campaigns and permanent VM in support of New Product Launches, seasonal moments, and brand initiatives.

Reporting into the Creative Director, Global Visual Merchandising, this role partners closely with the Global VM & Retail Experience team and regional partners to consistently elevate our in-store presence.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with deep knowledge of Visual Merchandising best practices and brand storytelling, able to introduce and execute design ideas across various retail formats. They know design software by heart, can confidently present their work, and have an informed opinion about their creative concepts. They must also have a keen understanding of the importance of consumer engagement and of product and messaging hierarchies to ensure the consumer is served the right information at the right time and in an engaging way.

What You’ll Be Working On

VM Design + Systems

  • Support the Global VM team in translating brand and campaign strategy into VM creative concepts, storylines, and modular guidelines that scale across retailers, fixtures, and footprints.
  • Contribute to the development of Global VM campaign guidelines, leveraging your outstanding 3D design skills to deliver compelling and scalable VM fixture designs and display units.
  • In partnership with Retail Experience and 2DVM, ensure guidelines and renderings are current with campaign assets, message, consumer engagement tactics, and product zoning.
  • Create VM toolkits for permanent VM guidelines, translating product and messaging hierarchy to different fixture formats in both 3D and 2D to guide regional planograms and brand initiatives at retail.
  • Organize and prepare 3D VM design files for final release to regional partners.
  • Support the Creative Director, Global VM, with in-store initiatives that are strategically aligned with the Global brand vision.
Cross‑Functional + Regional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Global Creative, Retail Experience, Product Marketing, and regional VM partners to ensure needs are captured and met.
  • Support regional design reviews, execution recaps, local store visits, and vendor reviews. Document learnings, quality benchmarks, and corrective actions.
  • Champion creative problem solving and develop a reputation for being a collaborative and solutions-oriented contributor.
Must Haves:
  • BA/BS/BFA degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, or Environmental Design
  • 5+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising, Retail Design, or related fields. Some beauty experience preferred.
  • Strong portfolio representing a grasp of retail storytelling, planogramming, 3D spatial design, and rendering. Comfortable with vendor specs and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Rhino or SketchUp, Keyshot or other rendering tools.
  • Organized and process-driven, with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely – ability to provide and receive constructive feedback that is necessary to improve designs.
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment.
