Job description

T.C. Millwork is seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our manufacturing team. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong woodworking and manufacturing knowledge to inspect CNC-machined parts and completed cabinet/store fixture assemblies to ensure they meet company quality standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect parts coming off CNC machines for accuracy, dimensions, and quality
  • Verify finished cabinets and store fixtures in the assembly department meet drawings and specifications
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and production paperwork
  • Use tape measures and other measuring tools accurately
  • Identify defects, quality issues, and inconsistencies before products move to the next stage
  • Work closely with machine operators, assembly employees, and supervisors to maintain quality standards
  • Ensure parts and assemblies are built according to company and customer requirements
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of Quality Control experience in woodworking, cabinet making, millwork, or manufacturing
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure
  • Ability to read and understand shop drawings and blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with cabinets, store fixtures, woodworking, or similar manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
