Responsibilities

Job Summary: Supervise Reset Merchandising Partners who perform merchandising resets and small fixture installations supporting new store construction and store remodels. Store fixture installations include floor fixtures and other store display equipment.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review
  • Acts as advisor to direct reports to resolve technical problems.
  • Develops and administers schedules. Sets day-to-day objectives for work team and ensures work is performed consistently within existing policies and procedures.
  • Works within established guidelines, processes, and procedures. May recommend improvements to achieve team goals. Providing input in managing costs related to the team/department
  • Ensure arrangement and placement of products on the shelves in accordance with blueprints and plan-o-grams (POGs)

Qualifications & Key Requirements:
Work Experience:

  • Experience in all aspects merchandising using Plan-O-Grams, including previous Supervisory experience - Required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Advanced understanding of fixture placement drawings and reading blueprint - Required
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office software, H-E-B systems, and designated conference call systems - Required
  • Must have the knowledge of, and the ability to use hand tools including power tools - Required
  • Must possess a personal vehicle - Required

Education:

  • Technical, vocational, or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of education and/or relevant work experience - Required

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Completion of H-E-B Management / Leadership programs where applicable (i.e. SORM or ATL). - Required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license - Required

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

  • Travel by car with overnight stays
  • Regularly lift up to 20 lbs
