Location: Remote

Pay Range: $92k - $98k annually, based on previous work experience.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm *This is a fully remote position. Occasional weekends and travel may be required.

What You Bring (Requirements)

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Health Information Management, Health Administration, or related field required.
  • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred but not required.
  • Must have a valid driverโ€™s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.
  • Minimum of five (5) yearsโ€™ experience in medical records, health information management, or related healthcare operational role.

  • Minimum of two (2) yearsโ€™ experience supervising or leading staff required, with a strong preference for remote supervision experience.

  • Experience working within an electronic health record (EHR) system required.

  • Experience in PACE, long-term care, or other regulated healthcare environments preferred.

What Youโ€™ll Be Responsible For

The PACE Medical Records Manager is responsible for the operational leadership, coordination, and performance of centralized medical records functions across all VOANS PACE programs. This role oversees a pooled team of medical records staff, ensuring that health information processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational standards.

  • Lead Centralized Medical Records Operations
  • Design and Implement a Scalable Service Mode
  • Manage Workload Distribution and Resource Allocation
  • Ensure Timely and Accurate Processing of Medical Records Functions
  • Standardize Medical Records Workflows and Practices
  • Supervise and Develop Medical Records Staff
  • Support strong organizational communication and cross-facility learning.
  • Oversight, support, and performance management of team members to ensure they effectively achieve work objectives and maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
  • Perform other duties as required or requested.
