Job Summary
FLIK is seeking a versatile and collaborative Policy Writer / L&D Specialist for a 15-month full-time contract engagement. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels in creating clear, compliant documentation and is equally comfortable supporting Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives. This individual will serve as a key member of the team, helping shape policies, training content, and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and update company policies, procedures, training materials, and internal documentation.
• Ensure all content aligns with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into clear policies, learning materials, and job aids.
• Support Learning & Development efforts, including creating guides, training content, and enablement resources.
• Maintain consistency in tone, format, and version control across all documentation.
• Support audits and compliance reviews related to policy and training documentation.
Qualifications:
• Preferred: Experience in policy writing, technical writing, documentation development, or compliance-related content.
• Required: Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
• Required: Ability to translate complex information into clear, user-friendly language for both policies and training materials.
• Required: Experience working in corporate or regulated environments.
• Experience in project management, including managing timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
• Experience supporting Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives or creating training content strongly valued.
• Background in document writing, content development, or instructional design is a plus.
Compensation & Terms:
• Full-time hours for 15 months (contract role)
• Compensation equivalent to an annual salary of $75,000, paid on an hourly basis
• Fully remote role - open to candidates based anywhere, with required availability aligned to Eastern Standard Time (EST)
• Potential opportunity to convert to a full-time permanent role with FLIK
