Conference Business Development Intern (

We are seeking a proactive and organized Conference Business Development Intern to support our CEO during the JCtrans USA Conference 2026. The intern will assist with meeting coordination, lead management, networking support, note-taking, and post-meeting follow-ups.

This role is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in logistics, supply chain, international trade, business development, or marketing.

Responsibilities

Before the Conference

  • Research participating freight forwarders and logistics companies.
  • Prepare company profiles and meeting briefs.
  • Organize attendee contact information.
  • Assist with appointment scheduling and confirmations.

During the Conference

  • Manage meeting schedules and reminders.
  • Accompany the CEO during networking sessions.
  • Take structured meeting notes.
  • Collect and organize business cards and contact details.
  • Record action items and partnership opportunities.
  • Capture photos and short videos for LinkedIn and company marketing.
  • Maintain a lead tracking spreadsheet or CRM.

After the Conference

  • Organize meeting notes and lead information.
  • Assist in preparing follow-up emails.
  • Update CRM records.
  • Prepare a conference summary report.

Requirements
