The Opportunity
"This position supports incentive compensation programs impacting hundreds of sales professionals and millions of dollars in annual commission payments, directly influencing sales performance and business outcomes. We need someone who can sit at the intersection of our incentive compensation team and regional operations, translating complex business requirements into scalable Anaplan solutions that drive accuracy, transparency, and operational excellence across our sales organization." - Senior Director, Software Business Strategy
What You'll Contribute
  • Design, enhance, and maintain end-to-end Anaplan incentive compensation models and supporting data structures.
  • Execute quarterly incentive compensation and bonus payment cycles, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with operations.
  • Collaborate closely with Incentive Compensation analysts and regional operations leads to gather requirements, recommend improvements, and implement scalable solutions that support our Sales Incentive program.
  • Revise and optimize database queries to source, transform, and validate sales production data used in compensation calculations, analyzing large, complex datasets to identify and resolve calculation or data integrity issues.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, including intuitive Anaplan UX pages, modules, and processes.
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools that improve transparency, insight, and calculation accuracy for sales professionals and leadership teams.
  • Identify and implement automation and process improvements that reduce manual effort, strengthen internal controls, and enhance user experience.
  • Document technical specifications, system configurations, and development processes to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain strong system governance.

What We're Seeking
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience model building in Anaplan (L2 or L3 Model Builder Certification), with a focus on incentive compensation and financial performance.
  • Strong experience managing integrations with surrounding ecosystem tools (Xactly, Salesforce, Workday, and Snowflake).
  • Strong experience with incentive compensation management, performance reporting/analytics, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proven ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management abilities with capacity to challenge constructively and optimize business processes.
  • Experience working independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities in fast-paced environments.
