Ideally, you are a dynamic, motivated, and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a rapidly changing environment. You will coordinate the company's month-end closing and consolidation process and generate/interpret financial records and statements for management. The person in this role will prepare budgets and forecasts, support special projects, and work on continuous process improvements across the platform, in order to maintain a strong control environment. This role is critical for performance analysis, tracking performance on key levers, providing relevant data, and identifying potential action items.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well!)
  • Support region finance teams with technical accounting guidance, process support, and month end close support.
  • Review divisional month end reporting to support Region VP and ensure accurate and timely month end close.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow).
  • Analyze financial performance and prepare financial and operational projections.
  • Review weekly AR reports and organize key information regarding outstanding invoices.
  • Assess and forecast key performance indicators including (but not limited to) DSO, DPO, and CIE.
  • Review monthly division WIP's to identify trends to support operations and address specific risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare presentations for monthly management reviews.
  • Prepare fiscal year-end financial statements and corporate tax returns; assist audit activities.
  • Attend division meetings, review key schedules, and ensure continuous improvement/compliance.
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting planning process for the company.
  • Research and provide opinions on proper GAAP accounting treatment for new processes.
  • Support finance related tasks at the division level during key timeframes in the absence of a permanent Accounting Manager or Controller.
  • Review inventory reporting to identify non-moving parts, ensure cycle counts are being complete, help divisions set up year end full counts, etc.
  • Perform financial analysis related to prospective acquisitions.
  • Effectively analyze and reconcile financial data with attention to detail.
  • Participate in special projects as requested.

WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • Two to five years of related experience in finance, accounting or audit.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting principles.
  • Experience with percentage-of-completion accounting is preferred.
  • Exercise sound judgment in performing subjective accounting analysis.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all privileged information.
  • Work independently and successfully as a team member.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, and an ability to perform under pressure.
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, preferably Microsoft D365.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

WHAT WE'RE BRINGING TO THE TABLE
  • Competitive salary based on qualifications.
  • Paid time off plan and holidays.
  • 401(k) matching.
  • Short term and long-term disability.
  • Medical, dental, and vision plans with options.
  • Life insurance.
  • Professional career development opportunities.
  • Tuition reimbursement.
