Job description

*** US Citizenship required per government contract. (dual citizenship is not permitted). A completed US DOD clearance investigation and current, active eligibility is required to perform on this contract and therefore is required to be considered for a position.
Main Sail is seeking a Training & Development Manager to develop, advise, and support the PMO on a workforce enablement program for an Adaptive Manufacturing project producing small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS). This project will be in support of a manufacturing client, Siemens Government Technologies, in Anniston, Alabama.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop Workforce Enablement Program handover materials.
  • Develop workforce demand plan.
  • Define compliance baseline & mandatory qualifications.
    - Perform workforce alignment with SOPs.
  • Assess digital tool readiness.
  • Initial development of training curriculum.
  • Develop plan for talent acquisition.
  • Develop initial plan for trainers/assessors.
  • Align new hire onboarding with curriculum/content.
  • Assist with change management plan and establishing communication channels.
  • Develop plan for skills & coverage management.
  • Establish workforce performance management & feedback.
  • Assist with quality and safety feedback forum.
  • Assist with enablement of continuous improvement.
  • Establish governance & audit of workforce enablement program.

Experience Required:
  • 4+ years of experience developing workforce enablement programs, manufacturing related preferred.
  • Environment experience where a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) exists, preferred.
  • Experience working in manufacturing environment leveraging digital twins/digital threads, preferred.
  • Experience developing a workforce enablement program from the ground up.

Location:
Hybrid (onsite/remote), Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, AL.

Duration:
July 27, 2026-January 27, 2027 (6 mos) with probable extension.
