This role will work with all aspects of our product and be comfortable writing both front and backend code. This role will be heavily involved in design and should be comfortable adapting to changing requirements. This role will be comfortable learning the business logic of the product. This role works independently and coming up with solutions to unique problems. This role will have direct reports.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Lead and manage a software development team responsible for designing, developing, testing, and delivering new features and functionality for the core product.
  • Partner closely with business analysts, product stakeholders, and support teams to translate business needs into scalable, high-quality technical solutions.
  • Oversee technical design, code quality, release readiness, and production support activities to ensure reliable, maintainable, and performant software delivery.
  • Guide proof of concepts, prototypes, and technology evaluations to assess new tools, frameworks, and approaches that may improve product capability or development efficiency.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership, including architecture input, code reviews, troubleshooting support, and coaching on engineering best practices.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop direct reports through regular feedback, performance management, goal setting, and career development support.
  • Plan and prioritize team workload, remove delivery obstacles, and ensure commitments are met within agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications/ Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 8+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in an AVP level role or external equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in software development preferred
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and relational database concepts
  • Minimum of 2+ years as a people manager
  • Expert proficiency with an object-oriented language such as C#
  • Expert proficiency with SQL and strong grasp of database concepts
  • Significant experience with .NET Framework (ASP.Net preferred)
  • Experience with microservice event driven architecture.
  • Experience with AWS cloud environment; including hands on experience with Kubernetes & ADO
  • Experience with C#
  • Experience using AI tools: Claude & Cursor
  • Experience with : mySQL, SQL and documentdb
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Agile & Devops development practices
  • Ability to learn new technologies as needed

The annual full time base salary range for this role is
$130,000.00 - $175,000.00
Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
