Job description

The Trainer delivers instructor-led, virtual, and blended training to end users, operations staff, and program stakeholders supporting a large-scale Medicaid enterprise system implementation for a healthcare technology client. Working from an established curriculum, the Trainer facilitates scheduled sessions, adapts delivery to different learning styles and experience levels, and provides post-training support that reinforces system adoption and operational readiness. This position is performed remotely and supports an assigned eight (8) hour shift within Pacific Time business hours.
Must be eligible to work in the United States. No sponsorships are available at this time.
Project Duration: 9/28/26 to 12/31/26
Essential Duties:
  • Delivers engaging and interactive training programs to diverse audiences through instructor-led, virtual, webinar-based, on-the-job, and blended learning formats
  • Facilitates training courses that support operational readiness, system adoption, compliance, and non-technical skill development
  • Adapts training delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles, experience levels, and audience needs
  • Collaborates with business units, subject matter experts (SMEs), and instructional designers to identify learning requirements and confirm that training materials are accurate, effective, and user friendly
  • Assists with training needs assessments and helps determine the appropriate learning solutions to address performance gaps
  • Develops and maintains lesson plans, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, presentations, manuals, handouts, and other learning resources
  • Delivers live and recorded training programs using a variety of learning technologies and communication platforms
  • Provides post-training support, coaching, resources, and guidance to reinforce learner success and performance improvement
  • Maintains training records and documentation in compliance with organizational standards and confidentiality requirements
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of training curricula, delivery methods, and the learner experience
  • Interacts regularly with employees, leaders, subject matter experts, clients, and business partners
  • Maintains accountability for training delivery, learner engagement, project deadlines, and training effectiveness
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learner engagement techniques
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating both in-person and virtual learning programs
  • Ability to use training technologies, business software applications, and virtual learning platforms effectively
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience creating training documentation, participant materials, and facilitator guides
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong technical writing, proofreading, and editing skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to command a virtual classroom with confidence and compassion
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working with employees and stakeholders
  • Availability to work an assigned eight (8) hour shift between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday

Education and Experience:
  • A bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in training delivery, facilitation, adult learning, or employee development
  • Experience delivering training on enterprise systems, or in a Medicaid, health and human services, or public sector environment, preferred
  • Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Teams, experience required

Employee is regularly required to talk or hear, sit, stand, and utilize technology tools such as a laptop computer for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
