Job description

Responsibilities and Duties
As a Sales Development Representative at Maker, you will help the company meet and exceed revenue goals by closing a high volume of mid-market opportunities. You will identify and understand customer needs, educate them on the Maker value proposition, and close long-term deals.
Maker is just building out our mid-market Sales team and process so there will be a lot of learning on the go and iteration on our process and strategy, you'll need to be able to roll with the new challenges.
Responsibilities
  • Qualify a high volume of mid-market opportunities over personalized emails and introductory calls
  • Booking 16-18 meetings per month with mid-market DTC brands in outbound process.
  • Log all activity in Salesforce and other CRM tool, maintaining clean data.
  • Leverage AI and intent based tools for ABM campaigns.
  • Work with the Demand Gen to develop customized pitches, demos, and overall sales strategy, based on the learnings you achieve from your high volume of sales cycles.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience running a high volume of prospecting phone calls and emails on a daily basis
  • 1+ years experience in sales development/lead generation for a SaaS Company in ecommerce/DTC/martech space
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions to ecommerce/shopify ecosystem.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Superb organization skills, attention to detail, and diligence with logging all activity in CRM.
  • Ability to pitch effectively over live calls, voicemail, email, linkedin/other relevant social channels
  • Competitive spirit, high energy, self-motivated team player
  • Excellent communication, networking and relationship-building skills
