Opportunity
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at The Mortgage Office, you'll play a key role in driving growth by identifying and nurturing new business opportunities while mastering the foundations of SaaS sales in the fintech industry. You'll research, identify, and qualify leads, setting the stage for our Account Executives to close new business and help clients streamline their lending operations with our industry-leading loan servicing software.
We'll equip you with the tools, technology, and mentorship you need to accelerate your career in software sales. Our ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a solid work ethic, and the persistence and resilience it takes to thrive in outbound sales and business development.
What You'll Own
  • Research and identify prospects using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo.io
  • Craft and manage email campaigns and sequences in HubSpot CRM that educate and engage prospects
  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media
  • Qualify leads using BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing) methodology
  • Schedule meetings and demos for our Sales team
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all activity in HubSpot CRM
  • Stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and competitive positioning
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to optimize lead generation strategies

What You Bring
Required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a BDR/SDR role: cold calling, customer service, inside sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport
  • Strong organizational skills and a focused approach to planning and goal achievement
  • Quick learner with genuine interest in technology, SaaS, and fintech
  • Basic understanding of the private lending industry is a plus, but not required
