What does an Intel Sales Representative do?

An Intel Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling Intel’s products and solutions, such as processors, chipsets, and other technologies, to clients like computer manufacturers, retailers, and enterprise customers. They develop strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to help them achieve their business goals. Their work often involves collaborating with internal teams, staying updated on product developments, and meeting sales targets. This role requires excellent communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

How does an Intel Sales Representative typically collaborate with technical teams to address customer needs?

As an Intel Sales Representative, you will frequently work alongside technical specialists and engineers to fully understand customer requirements and propose tailored solutions. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills help you connect with clients and drive sales. These skills and qualities are essential to effectively match customer needs with Intel solutions, achieve sales targets, and foster long-term business partnerships.

Job Summary:

As an Inside Sales Representative at Seachrome, you are not simply selling; you are guiding, educating, and advocating for the customer through a high-touch, design-oriented purchase. You will deliver a premium experience to our dealer networks, Division 10 installers, and wholesale branches.

This hybrid role requires a motivated, performance-driven sales professional. You will be the operational backbone for your assigned accounts while aggressively driving revenue growth through strategic business development, pipeline management, and consultative selling.

Who You Are (Core DNA):

  • Street-Smart: You are flexible and resilient in a fast-changing environment. You innovate, drive constructive change, and exercise sound business judgment to find positive solutions.
  • Juice (The "Stuff" it takes to be a Needle Mover): You get things done and drive results. You lead without a title, empowering others through a can-do attitude, and visualizing what the final destination looks like.
  • Teamwork (Humble, Hungry, and Smart): You treat others with respect, admit mistakes, and demonstrate transparency. You “bring the weather” by exhibiting positive leadership and solution-focused thinking.

What You Will Do (Primary Objectives):

  • Premium Customer Experience: Create a warm, professional, and trust-based experience from first contact through final order. Act as a customer advocate by ensuring accuracy, clarity, and follow-through at every step of the manufacturing and fulfillment process.
  • Outbound Prospecting and New Business: Create and continuously foster relationships by making daily outbound phone calls to independent distributors, retrofitters, and wholesale branches to introduce product lines and generate fresh pipelines.
  • Strategic Cross-Selling and Product Guidance: Counsel customers on the right materials, styles, functionality, and installation considerations. Review incoming orders to identify missing revenue. If a client orders from one product line, you will proactively contact them to quote complementary products from other product families.
  • Blueprint and Specification Review: Analyze architectural drawings, project specifications, and mechanical prints to accurately quote jobs and confidently cross-reference Seachrome products against competitor equivalents.
  • Pipeline and Quote Management: Take immediate ownership of outstanding product quotes and large project bids. Commercial projects involve extended timelines requiring consistent, proactive follow-up. You will focus on building resilient relationships, cross-referencing Seachrome products against competitors, and staying deeply engaged throughout the entire bidding cycle.
  • Field Team Collaboration: Work closely with our network of Independent Reps and Distributors to capture territory growth opportunities, share lead intel, and ensure rapid responses to high-value dealer requests.
  • Account Operations: Enter and manage daily sales orders in our ERP system, collaborate with the logistics and production teams on shipping and lead times, and handle sales-related inquiries via phone and email.

What You Must Have (Required):

  • 5+ years of outbound, consultative phone sales or account management experience.
  • A proven track record of picking up the phone to cold-call new prospects, track leads, and build relationships.
  • Exceptional critical thinking ability with the emotional intelligence to maintain confidence and control of the sales process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present, negotiate, and influence effectively at all levels of an organization.
