The Role and Impact
As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be at the forefront of driving Intel's technical solutions to solve complex challenges for our customers and partners. Your role is pivotal in bridging the gap between technology and business, as you will act as a trusted advisor to Intel sales teams, external partners, and end customers. By leveraging your technical expertise and deep understanding of Intel's datacenter product portfolio, you will collaborate with decision-makers to influence purchasing decisions, deliver tailored solutions, and facilitate customer design wins. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by championing Intel's vision, value, and strategy in an ever-evolving market.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Intel sales professionals to co-own relationships with customer and partner decision-makers, driving the adoption of Intel's datacenter solutions by addressing technical requirements and presenting competitive value propositions.
  • Provide ongoing technical support by delivering product briefings, use-case-based benchmarks, proof of concepts and customer-driven technical incubations.
  • Represent the voice of the customer by articulating business use cases and technical needs to product development teams, influencing Intel's datacenter roadmap and program deliverables.
  • Act as a thought leader and advisor to technical sales teams, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of Intel's datacenter product portfolio and competitive landscape.
  • Plan and implement training roadmaps, schedules, and materials to enhance the technical knowledge of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate product and program updates for customers, partners, and field sales teams to ensure alignment with Intel's offerings and roadmap.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or BS degree in a relevant technical field.
  • 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years with a Master's degree, or 2+ years with a PhD.
  • Strong proficiency in customer needs analysis, technical requirement definition, and product knowledge within the technology sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, operating systems, and the deployment, configuration, and support of mission-critical hardware and software solutions.
  • Expertise in technical sales with the ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with information technology trends.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong preference for candidates to reside in OR, WA, ID or within very close proximity to this region to support local client base.
  • Proven experience in cultivating and managing customer and partner relationships, with a track record of influencing purchasing decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to deliver technical concepts effectively to a range of audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams, manage competing priorities, and drive alignment in a cross-functional environment.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a focus on delivering impactful solutions to address customer challenges.
  • Background in implementation of Intel hardware and software solutions related to data center.
