About the Role

Intel's Networking Solutions Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ethernet Product Manager to lead the definition and development of software requirements for Ethernet controllers and adapters. This role requires a strong technical background, market insight, and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable product requirements.
In this role, you will:

  • Collect and refine customer feature requirements for Ethernet products in partnership with customer enablement team and software architects
  • Document detailed product requirements and specifications in collaboration with engineering, marketing, and sales teams
  • Define the product life cycle plans for shipping products by partnering customer enablement teams and engineering
  • Engage with OS vendors to align driver availability with OS timelines
  • Update product pricing strategies; develop and understand cost models; own long-term revenue forecasts
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify Ethernet industry trends; Provide actionable feedback to influence product strategy and execution to enable competitive differentiation
  • Create and present customer-facing software collaterals with compelling stories to drive Intel Ethernet adoption
  • Represent Intel at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote Intel Ethernet products and solutions

The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or in a STEM related field
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in datacenters, servers, or Ethernet Networking
  • Experience Collecting and refining customer feature requirements
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects; Technical acumen to engage with engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or in a STEM related field
  • Experience in networking protocols and data center system architectures
  • Experience with Cloud, Telco and Enterprise data center deployments with a focus on networking solutions
  • Experience with ASIC/SoC development cycles and vendor management
  • Examples of marketing collateral articulating the value proposition of the product
