To thrive as a Remote Help Desk professional, you need strong technical troubleshooting abilities, knowledge of common operating systems, and typically a background in IT or related certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator. About Openwork

Openwork is a high-growth, people-first staffing company reimagining what modern hiring can be. Privately owned and proudly independent, we move fast, think big, and give every team member a real seat at the table. With over 50 years of experience, we’re combining industry expertise with a fresh, innovative approach — bringing ease, accessibility, and thoughtfulness to every step of the hiring journey.

We’ve been recognized as one of SIA’s Fastest Growing Staffing Companies and a ClearlyRated Best of Staffing® Client and Talent Award winner. As we continue to grow, every new hire plays a critical role in shaping our company and our future.

Why Join Us

Every internal role at Openwork is more than a job — it’s an opportunity to help build a progressive, modern staffing company from the inside out. We keep red tape to a minimum and encourage fresh ideas, bold thinking, and collaborative problem-solving. You\'ll be part of a close-knit, mission-driven team that values curiosity, trust, and results.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary with monthly commissions or bonus potential

  • Generous PTO and paid holidays

  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits

  • Dog-friendly offices (yes, really!)

  • A people-first culture built on collaboration, accountability, and shared growth

If you\'re looking for a place where your ideas matter and your work can make a real impact, we\'d love to meet you.

  Direct Hire Recruiter (Full Desk/360)

*Please Note: While this role is remote, candidates must live within the Atlanta, Charlotte, Raleigh, Dallas, or Houston metro areas. Applications from candidates outside of these markets cannot be considered.*

At Openwork, we\'re looking for experienced agency recruiters who know how to build and run a successful full desk. This is not a recruiting coordinator, sourcer, or recruiting-only role. We are seeking proven 360 recruiters with a track record of developing client relationships, generating job orders, recruiting talent, and making placements.

As am Executive/Direct Hire Recruiter, you\'ll own the entire business cycle from business development and client management to candidate recruitment and placement. You\'ll have the autonomy to build your market, grow your book of business, and directly impact your earnings and career growth.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 3-5+ years of experience running a true full desk within a professional staffing environment.

What You\'ll Do
  • Develop and grow your own book of business through proactive business development activities, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
  • Run a full 360 recruiting desk, owning both client acquisition and candidate delivery.
  • Prospect, cold call, conduct client meetings, and uncover hiring opportunities within your market.
  • Build long-term partnerships with hiring managers and decision-makers by understanding their business challenges and providing talent solutions.
  • Skill-market top candidates to generate new business opportunities and create demand.
  • Recruit, interview, assess, and present high-caliber professional talent.
  • Manage the full hiring process, including candidate sourcing, qualification, interview preparation, offer negotiation, and placement.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with both clients and placed candidates to drive retention, referrals, and repeat business.
  • Consistently achieve recruiting, sales, activity, and revenue goals.
  • Maintain accurate ATS documentation and pipeline management.
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience running a true full desk (360) within a professional staffing or recruiting agency environment.
  • Demonstrated success generating new business and managing client relationships.
  • Proven track record of recruiting and placing professional-level talent.
  • Experience managing the entire recruitment lifecycle from business development through placement.
  • Comfortable making outbound sales calls, conducting client meetings, negotiating fees, and closing business.
  • Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple searches, clients, and priorities simultaneously.
Why Openwork?

With over 50 years of industry experience, Openwork is reimagining staffing — bringing ease, accessibility, and thoughtfulness to every interaction. We’re proud to be recognized as a ClearlyRated Best of Staffing® winner and one of SIA’s Fastest Growing Staffing Companies.

We’re a growing team where you can truly make your mark. Here, your work directly impacts careers, businesses, and communities.
