This position is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance that can lead to enhanced job satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will be an integral part of a collaborative teamโ€”actively participating in team meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives from your remote setting. Our community health clinic environment emphasizes teamwork and shared goals, ensuring that you will be well-supported in your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical services to clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses and emotional disorders via virtual meetings and telehealth platforms.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and design individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and client needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care and outcomes, ensuring that services are integrated across various health and social services.
  • Implement brief and focused therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to address presenting problems.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes to comply with both organizational standards and legal requirements.
  • Engage in crisis intervention as necessary, providing timely support and developing safety plans to ensure client well-being.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to strengthen clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in mental health care.
  • Facilitate community outreach efforts to increase awareness about available services and promote mental health resources.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele comprising individuals from various cultural backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and age groups. Your efforts will primarily focus on individuals challenged by complex mental health issues in our medically under-served community in El Paso, Texas. Understanding and respecting diverse traditions, beliefs, and interpersonal styles will be crucial as you provide holistic, individualized care.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure in Texas.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with mental health populations, ideally in a community health setting.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster positive rapport with clients, families, and team members.
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
  • Experience with program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plans, paid time off, and professional development opportunities, ensuring our employees feel valued and supported.
