Job description

Turing is looking for experienced financial professionals with strong backgrounds in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment. This opportunity is ideal for mid- to senior-level finance leaders interested in contributing their expertise to cutting-edge AI development and learning how AI can advance financial strategy and decision-making.
Role Overview:
  • In this role, you will work on projects designed to fine-tune and evaluate large language models (LLMs) using your finance and strategic management expertise.
  • No prior AI experience is required.
  • These projects will help you explore how AI can enhance financial planning, reporting accuracy, and strategic forecasting in real-world business contexts.

What Does Day-to-Day Look Like:
  • Design and solve complex, real-world finance problems to assess AI model reasoning.
  • Create clear, high-quality, step-by-step financial analyses and decision frameworks.
  • Collaborate with AI researchers to improve model understanding in areas such as financial reporting, strategic planning, and capital allocation.
  • Define and refine evaluation benchmarks based on industry standards and best practices in financial management.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience as a Financial Manager, Finance Director, or in a similar leadership role within finance or insurance.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong English communication skills, with the ability to simplify and present complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and risk management at a strategic level.
