Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an IT Technical Sales Associate who possesses a strong technical foundation in IT infrastructure and the "hunter" mentality of a top-tier salesperson. This is a unique role where you will manage the full lifecycle of a deal. You will be responsible for locating and qualifying new leads, but you will also stay involved after the sale. You will participate in project management meetings and act as the technical liaison to ensure the project remains aligned with the client’s scope and expectations. You are the "bridge" between the initial promise and the final delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Proactively identify, lead-source, and qualify new business opportunities within the IT infrastructure and field services space.

  • Technical Sales: Consult with potential clients to understand their hardware and deployment needs, proposing tailored solutions that leverage our nationwide field service network.

  • Project Alignment: Attend project management and kickoff meetings for your closed deals. Ensure the technical delivery team understands the client’s requirements and keep the deal "aligned" as it moves from sales to execution.

  • Account Management: Maintain long-term relationships with clients to identify recurring service needs and infrastructure refresh cycles.

  • Reporting: Manage your pipeline and sales activity within our CRM, providing regular updates on lead status and project alignment.

Compensation Structure: Recoverable Draw

We provide a structure that offers financial stability while rewarding high-volume closers:

  • Base Monthly Draw: You will receive a guaranteed monthly base payment (Draw).

  • Commission Coverage: This role is a "Draw against Commission" structure. Your earned commissions are first applied to cover your monthly base.

Commission Payout: Once your sales commissions have fully covered your base draw for the period, you will receive all additional commission earnings with no cap. This allows for significant upside as you build your pipeline.

Requirements
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of IT infrastructure (Networking, Rack & Stack, Structured Cabling, Wi-Fi deployments, and Hardware Lifecycle). (Cameras, Access Control, Ubiquiti)

  • Experience: 3+ years in B2B technical sales or IT field service sales.

  • Project Liaison Skills: Ability to sit in on technical PM meetings, speak the language of technicians, and ensure project scope remains accurate.

  • Remote Capability: Must be a self-starter comfortable working from a home office while maintaining high productivity.

  • Travel: Ability to travel (approx. 10-15%) for industry trade shows and essential face-to-face client meetings.

  • Communication: Elite negotiation skills and the ability to explain complex field service logistics to stakeholders.

  • Systems Knowledge: (Zoho One, CRM, Desk, Projects, DialPad, Sales Navigator, Email Marketing)
