CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
We are seeking an Environmental Construction Manager to oversee eco-friendly infrastructure and remediation projects from bid to closeout. This role ensures all construction activities comply with strict environmental regulations and sustainability standards. Please note this position requires extensive seasonal travel to manage remote field sites.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight: Direct and monitor on-site construction operations, ensuring compliance with EPA guidelines, local regulations, and sustaining project metrics (cost, scope, schedule).
Compliance Management: Implement Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs), overseeing erosion control, waste remediation, and habitat restoration.
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with environmental agencies, ecologists, civil engineers, and project subcontractors to mitigate issues/risks.
Budget amp; Schedule: Track project milestones, manage resource allocation, and prepare regular progress reports for senior management.
Safety Leadership: Promote corporate safety culture and participate in safety and environmental audits, ensuring all field staff adhere to OSHA and site-specific safety protocols.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in construction/project management, engineering, environmental sciences, or a closely related field.
Experience: 3+ years of combined experience in construction supervision and environmental remediation.
