Position Summary

The Project Superintendent is responsible for developing project estimates and budgets, managing reconstruction projects from inception through completion, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, along with experience in restoration and reconstruction services.

Location: Sacramento, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project budgets using Xactimate and project scopes.
  • Create project plans and oversee all phases of reconstruction projects.
  • Supervise field personnel and coordinate subcontractors.
  • Manage project schedules, progress, and change orders.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation from start to finish.
  • Plan, develop, and manage construction crews and subcontractor activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, homeowners, and insurance partners.
  • Communicate project updates, challenges, and progress to stakeholders.
  • Attend company meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of construction or restoration experience required.
  • Experience with fire, water, smoke, and mold restoration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Xactimate estimating software.
  • Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
