Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your home. Our community health clinic operates Monday through Saturday, offering both structured hours and the freedom to manage your own schedule within that framework. You will be supported by an efficient management team that handles in-house credentialing and assists you with insurance participation and appointment scheduling, which allows you to focus more on your patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, couples, families, and groups, tailoring your therapeutic approach based on the unique needs of each client.
  • Utilize clinical interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities, to develop effective treatment plans and interventions.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in alignment with organizational policies and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a cohesive approach to client care, participating in regular meetings for case review and treatment planning.
  • Provide thorough case management for assigned clients, coordinating with local hospitals and community agencies to facilitate access to additional resources and support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a therapist at Inner Fire Wellness Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families grappling with various mental health challenges. Qualifications
  • A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Ability to offer flexible work hours, with a commitment of 10 to 40 hours of sessions per week, tailored to meet the needs of your caseload.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health settings, with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in outpatient settings, specifically with a focus on crisis intervention and solution-oriented practices.

Compensation and Benefits
