• Establish and nurture a positive, trusting therapeutic rapport with clients to foster open dialogue and facilitate successful counseling outcomes.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose various mental health disorders, leveraging evidence-based practices to customize treatment approaches.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that consider each client’s unique circumstances and personal goals, with regular evaluations and updates based on progress.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging participation and engagement while promoting supportive interactions among group members.
• Continuously monitor clients’ progress through ongoing assessment sessions, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and refer clients to specialists when appropriate, working within a multidisciplinary approach to mental health care.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist at Inner Spark Counseling, you will work with a diverse population that includes individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and significant life transitions. Our clients range from children and adolescents to adults and families, each requiring a tailored therapeutic approach that acknowledges their unique backgrounds and experiences.

• Must hold an active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment; administrative tasks must be balanced alongside patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective client relationships and work collaboratively within a team.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy sessions is preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth services and the ability to utilize virtual platforms effectively in delivering therapy.
• Experience working within a community health framework and understanding of its unique challenges and benefits.
