Shape how an entire organization communicates, connects, and navigates change.

We are seeking a Director of Communications & Change Management to build and lead a modern communications function that connects leadership, communities, team members, and residents across the organization.

This is a unique opportunity for a communications leader who enjoys building something meaningful from the ground up. You will partner directly with executive leadership to shape enterprise messaging, strengthen communication across frontline teams, and lead communication strategies during organizational change.

If you're energized by translating complex strategy into clear communication, guiding organizations through transformation, and creating communication systems that truly reach people, this role offers both strategic influence and hands-on impact.

What You'll Lead

Enterprise Communications Strategy
Design and implement a modern communications approach that ensures clear, consistent messaging reaches leaders, community teams, frontline employees, and residents.

Executive Communications
Partner closely with senior leadership to shape messaging, prepare communications for key initiatives, and support enterprise town halls, leadership meetings, and strategic announcements.

Change & Transformation Communications
Lead communications for system launches, operational initiatives, redevelopment efforts, and other organizational changes. Develop a repeatable change management framework that helps leaders guide teams through change with clarity and confidence.

Frontline & Community Communication
Improve how communication reaches frontline team members across communities by modernizing communication channels and strengthening message delivery.

Engagement & Storytelling
Create compelling communications that bring organizational priorities and culture to life through leadership messaging, video communications, town halls, and storytelling.

Communication Infrastructure
Build communication frameworks, toolkits, and resources that enable leaders across the organization to communicate effectively and consistently.

The Leader Who Will Thrive Here

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, someone who enjoys designing the vision while also executing the work.

You are:

  • A builder who sees opportunity where systems need to be created

  • Comfortable working directly with executive leadership

  • Skilled at translating complex strategy into clear, engaging messaging

  • Energized by organizational transformation and change

  • Equally comfortable with strategy, writing, and execution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field

  • 10+ years of progressive communications experience in complex organizations

  • Experience leading enterprise communications and change management initiatives

  • Strong executive communications and storytelling capabilities

  • Experience developing communication strategies that reach distributed or frontline workforces

Why This Role Matters
