Job description

Change Management & Communications Lead
New Brunswick, NJ
12+ months Contract
Role Overview

The Change Management & Communications Lead will drive organizational change and strategic communication strategies within the Insights, Analytics, and Digital (IAD) and Project Delivery organizations. Operating under the J&J E&PS change management framework, this role is vital for capturing change impacts, building mitigation plans, and executing robust communication initiatives to support business transformation, program readiness, and "go-live" milestones.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned practitioner comfortable with complexity and ambiguity, possessing a knack for turning intricate technical or data-driven concepts into clear, engaging narratives for global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Framework Execution: Lead and execute global/regional change management and communication strategies in strict alignment with the organizational change management (OCM) framework.

  • Impact & Mitigation Analysis: Capture, develop, and validate change impacts on employees and business operations. Create stakeholder engagement plans, leadership action plans, and risk-mitigation roadmaps.

  • Internal Communications & Content Creation: Develop and distribute high-impact communications, including targeted leadership presentations, newsletters, project toolkits (MS PowerPoint), FAQs, digital signage, and intranet/SharePoint updates.

  • Event & Engagement Management: Coordinate and support high-profile engagement activities, including regional and global Town Halls, change network meetings, workshops, and industry celebrations.

  • Performance Tracking: Use and establish performance metrics and change readiness surveys to track the adoption and success of change initiatives.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with global and regional leadership teams, E&PS Boards, Strategy teams, and external vendors (e.g., video production agencies) to ensure program alignment and brand compliance.

Qualifications & RequirementsRequired:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Change Management and Communications practitioner.

  • Technical & Tool Skills: Exceptional proficiency in MS Office 365 (specifically PowerPoint for toolkit creation and SharePoint for content hosting).

  • Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface confidently with executive leadership.

  • Approach: Strategic mindset balanced with a hands-on, tactical approach to execution. Ability to adapt to emerging industry best practices and innovations.

Preferred:
  • Experience guiding organizations through massive Business Transformation, technical adoption, or digital evolution (IAD environments).

  • Proven track record in project management, reporting, and navigating complex, matrixed global organizations.

  • Strong agility, relationship-building skills, and the capacity to align cross-functional teams toward a unified goal.

Thanks

Sri Vardhan
