Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing mental health counseling and psychological services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapies in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Clinical Psychologist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Duties

  • Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine patient needs.
  • Provide individual and group therapy utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy and psychotherapy.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
  • Offer crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns in clinical practices and patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage in research activities to contribute to the advancement of clinical practices within the organization.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Experience working with children and families is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology for remote patient care.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health principles and mental health counseling techniques.
  • Proficient in psychological testing and intake assessments.
  • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred.
  • Strong understanding of social work principles related to mental health care.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including geriatrics and pediatrics.
