Job description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity is ideal for Special Education Teachers with a passion for empowering learners and fostering growth in a positive educational environment. Assignment Dates: July 7, 2026 – August 6, 2026
Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Special Education Teaching certification required—emergency or substitute permits will not be accepted
  • Experience working with students on the autism spectrum strongly preferred
  • Able to develop and implement differentiated instructional plans tailored to students’ individual needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
  • Committed to supporting social, emotional, and academic development in a classroom setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Instruct and supervise students in the Autism Summer School program, ensuring a safe and structured learning space
