Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Key Qualifications:
- Active Special Education Teaching certification required—emergency or substitute permits will not be accepted
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum strongly preferred
- Able to develop and implement differentiated instructional plans tailored to students’ individual needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Committed to supporting social, emotional, and academic development in a classroom setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Instruct and supervise students in the Autism Summer School program, ensuring a safe and structured learning space
- Design and deliver engaging lessons using evidence-based practices for learners with autism
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other educators to support individual learning plans
- Track progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate documentation as required
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates students’ unique abilities
