A growing global manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the financial operations for a large-scale manufacturing facility. This position serves as a key business partner to plant leadership, providing financial guidance, operational support, and strategic insight to drive performance and profitability.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing finance leader who enjoys being highly visible within operations and influencing business decisions.

Key Responsibilities for Controller
  • Lead all plant accounting and financial reporting activities.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and monthly close processes.
  • Manage and analyze plant P&L with responsibility for a business unit generating more than $200M in annual revenue.
  • Partner closely with operations, supply chain, engineering, and leadership teams to improve financial performance and support strategic initiatives.
  • Provide financial analysis related to manufacturing costs, labor, inventory, productivity, and capital expenditures.
  • Ensure accurate standard costing, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on profitability, efficiency, and internal controls.
  • Support business planning, investment analysis, and operational decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members.
Qualifications for Controller
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Progressive accounting and finance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in cost accounting, standard costing, inventory management, and manufacturing finance.
  • Experience overseeing plant-level P&L responsibility within a complex manufacturing operation.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with operational leaders and influence business decisions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
