HR / Payroll Coordinator
Location: Honolulu, HI 
Pay: $18–$25/hour 
Temporary to hire opportunity, Full-time, In-Office 

Position Overview
Bishop & Company is seeking a detail-oriented HR / Payroll Coordinator to support a dynamic organization in Honolulu. This role is responsible for payroll processing, benefits support, and employee communications, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple client accounts
  • Maintain accurate payroll and timekeeping data
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
  • Communicate with HR/Benefits teams on new hires, terminations, deductions, and leave administration
  • Assist with employee onboarding, orientations, and presentations
  • Support payroll team with administrative tasks and reporting deadlines
  • Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and on time

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and procedures
  • Experience with payroll systems and HRIS tools
  • Familiarity with HR practices and employment policies
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
