Project Manager - Heavy Civil Construction | Torrington, CT


My client is a self-performing heavy civil General Contractor ($300M+ in annual revenue) looking for an experienced Project Total portfolio includes infrastructure work across CT, RI, and MA - including two large 4-year projects in MA, three in-state jobs ranging from $50M-$120M, and roughly 15 additional projects in the $3M-$10M range. Depending on size of project you will lead 1-4 projects.


Relocation offered for move to Torrington, CT - ALSO open to candidates in RI/MA who will be onsite for several jobs in MA!


$170K-$185K base + bonus | OTE $250K-$280K

What you'll own:

Full ownership of project progress, budget, and scheduling

Primary client point of contact

Coordinate staffing/equipment needs with the Construction Manager

Monthly billing, cost monitoring, and change order management

Permit and regulatory compliance

Resolve superintendent/subcontractor issues before they become problems

Keep leadership ahead of risk - no surprises

Ensure clean project closeout and documentation

Spot new business opportunities in the field

Tools: Microsoft Suite, Procore, Trimble


What you bring:

8+ years as a PM in heavy civil construction

Experience across bridges, pipeline, industrial, and water/wastewater treatment projects

Water/wastewater experience REQUIRED
