Job description

Dynamis, Inc. is hiring experienced real estate and facilities professionals to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS), one of the nation's premier federal law enforcement and facility security agencies. Our team provides direct support to FPS's dynamic and mission-critical real estate portfolio spanning approximately 820,000 square feet of office and warehouse space across roughly 180 offices and 280 occupancy agreements nationwide. You'll work alongside FPS leadership and GSA counterparts to optimize the agency's real estate footprint, execute complex space planning and relocation projects, manage occupancy agreements, and advance long-term strategic portfolio goals. This is high-visibility work at the intersection of federal real estate, infrastructure, and homeland security where your expertise shapes how FPS operates, grows, and serves the nation.

The Move Management Coordinator is the operational engine behind FPS's office relocations, internal reconfigurations, and facility transitions. You'll plan, schedule, and execute moves across a nationwide portfolio — coordinating vendors, communicating with stakeholders, and keeping disruption to mission-critical operations at an absolute minimum. If you're energized by logistics, love bringing order to complexity, and thrive when every detail has to land right, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute office moves, consolidations, and reconfigurations from kick-off through post-move closeout
  • Develop detailed move schedules, phasing plans, and stakeholder communication packages
  • Coordinate with IT, telecommunications, security, facilities, and furniture vendors to align logistics and minimize operational downtime
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for FPS staff and building management during transition events
  • Maintain move project trackers, issue logs, and after-action reports for all completed moves
  • Conduct site assessments prior to moves to identify access requirements, staging areas, and potential challenges
  • Support development of move budgets and cost estimates; track expenditures against approved budgets
Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • 3–6 years of experience in move management, facilities coordination, or project coordination in a commercial or government real estate setting
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex, multi-phase office relocations with competing priorities
  • Proficiency in project scheduling tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar); experience with move management software a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; comfortable briefing senior government personnel
  • Ability to travel to FPS field locations as needed to support move activities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
